Ditto's my friend! I also found it interesting that DL is launching 757's on this new venture. I can only speculate that DL has studied the business model of SWA and the failed attempts by the other majors to emulate them by using 737's on those routes. And, by using 757's they are flooding the already saturated market with what would appear to be a more attractive airplane of choice for consumers. Although, the entire configuration will be coach class.
As you stated, their "low fare" airline will most definitely be a "non-union" work group for the most part. Lets' face it, it's the only way that DL can get their unit costs down in order to make this thing work. But, can they succeed?
