Hi there,
I installed the AM and everything worked, unfortunately I decided to change my hosting company to a new hosting company. Everything works on my new hosting company except when you click on an mp3. it allows the files to be downloaded but not streaming. I would like to force the users to stream instead of downloading.
I hope anybody can help
many thanks |

Are you sure the cgi file Media wrapper is working.
It as well as the htaccess file would not allow direct downloading, but send the user a play list file.

I have checked both .htaccess and mediawrap.cgi. Something I forgot to mention, I have patched my phpnuke 7.6 using patch 3.3
I am not sure if this will make any difference.
As I have already mention, it doesnt allowing streaming which i want but it allows downloading.
this is doing my head in.
thanks |

Just to reiterate.
You checked mediawrap by going to the cgi in the browser and it returned a "You forgot to supply a file name."
You also have a htaccess file in the directory that your media files are located.
If you type in a direct link to the audio file in your browser what happens? It should return you a file such as this
http://www.planedoctor.com/cgi-bin/mediawrap.cgi/audio/delta.m3u
If you want send me the address to your site and I will look at it. _________________
