hi there,
is there anyway we can make a link like if anyone wants to download the audio file he can rather than listening.

Hi,

The problem is the files lye in a directory with an htaccess file directing any requested file to go thru the media wrap cgi.

I will look into this request for the next version of audio.

At this time you can only have it one way or the other.

If you only want to allow downloading just leave out the .htaccess file from the directory you store the audio files in and they will then be http downloads.

I haven't actually tried this, but it should work.

Thanks for ya help .....
But im stuck some peoples wanna listen other wanna download so dont know what to do ... i havent tryied yet removing the file...anyway thanks again for the help waiting for the next version then

hi there,
last time when u told me to remove the .htaccess file from audio folder that worked but now when i transfered my website to another server im having the same problem live streaming no downloading even i removed the .htaccess file no use
any suggestions

Hi,

I might be as simple as your default audio player playing the files instead of asking "do you want to save or play this file" basically the players preferences.

You can always tell if the link is working by right clicking on the link and selecting "save target as..." option.
