TechOps to recall employees, continue with deferred furloughs

TechOps will be calling approximately 100 employees beginning March 16 to support the implementation of several fleet projects, including the rework of boeing 737 lap joints and the cabin interior refurbishment. Simultaneously, TechOps will follow through with furloughs that were deferred due to Song modification work. TechOps' industry-leading productivity and efficiency enabled the division to attract significant insourcing opportunities wich helped minimize the numbers of furloughs.

This year, TechOps will further improve its business throught the roll out of LEAN maintenance-the division's strategy designed to eliminate non-value-added tasks. with a focus on reducing operating costs and creating capacity allowing TechOps to insource
