I have been looking for a roller ratchet for some time now. It's about 4 inches long and uses a roller system to lock. You flip it over to go the other way.

Snap-on sells a set for "snap-on prices", but I have heard that some "brick and mortar" stores sell them.

The sockets that fit in them look like the size of apex bits.

If any one knows where I could pick one up at a decent price I would appreciate it! 0biglaugh.gif

Mac makes a ratchet that used a sprag type gearing system. I've not used one but the ratchet head 1/4" drive (one I use most) is much larger than my snap-on ratchet. Here's a link to the mac ratchet http://www.mactools.com/ProductDetails.aspx?ItemNum=MR7PAZ

Matco also has a line they call the "Profile Plus" Series; I don't know if this is what you're looking for, but here's the link to their page:
