I believe starting pay at Fedex is currently about $24-25hr. if you can get on.

PS: Do you work on the ramp for Fedex? DFW or Alliance? My dad is a mechanic for Fedex at DFW.

I work for FedEx, so I figured that I would share, it's public knowledge. So here you go. Hope this helps.

Sr Aviation MX Tech/Lin ($36.69 per hour)

PAY RATE:-------------------------------------> HOURLY
STEP1 BEGINNING RATE:---------------AMOUNT---> 19.54
STEP2 COMPLETED MONTHS:---> 06 AMOUNT---> 20.31
STEP3 COMPLETED MONTHS:---> 12 AMOUNT---> 21.14
STEP4 COMPLETED MONTHS:---> 18 AMOUNT---> 21.97
STEP5 COMPLETED MONTHS:---> 24 AMOUNT---> 23.73
STEP6 COMPLETED MONTHS:---> 36 AMOUNT---> 25.74

PREMIUMS: REQUIRED LICENSES:
LINE:----------> $ .15 PER HOUR
A&P $ 5.40 PER HOUR EACH
FCC $ 5.40 PER HOUR
HVAC/ELEC $ 2.00 PER HOUR
**UP TO TWO LICENSE PREMIUMS ARE PAID

That is after your step progression + shift differential.

Thanks for that 411 unlukky,

I have hoped to put together a up to date payscale for all the airlines and major cargo outfits. This will help.
