Today in Aviation History
1997
A Comair Embraer 120 Brasilia crashed while on approach to Detroit Metropolitan Airport. The crew was instructed to slow to 170 knots by Air Traffic Control and complied. This speed was below the stall speed of the aircraft in icing conditions, and the plane entered a spin and impacted the ground. All 29 on board were killed.

Hi,
Thanks for the Audio Module. I've got it working for RealMedia files but not MP3. In fact, I can't listen to your MP3 files on planedoctor.com... it opens WinAmp and does its prebuffering but no sound.

In your readme file you say:
"Developers notes about audio
I have found that most users are able to hear streaming audio on the first go. The majority of users that have problems are usually due to a small option problem in their settings of their media player. "

So if the problem is with my WinAmp 3, can you please tell me which options I should check. This will be a great help to me.

Thanks,
Peter

Hi Peter,

First I would guess hitting the link will launch the player.
If it does, then yes you have a configuration problem with the player. If it doesn't are you using a download manager? Most will have options of launching m3u automatically. Your actually downloading a m3u file that containes the address for the audio file.

I have tested using different systems and found if you not getting the audio to play there is genuinely a configuration problem.

I'm sorry I cannot help you with winamp(don't have it anymore) but play around with it and you will get it sorted I would think.

Yes, the player opens, as does a download window in the browser showing a .m3u file.

I'll try it later on another machine. Thanks again,

Peter
