Did you install the cgi program that creates the wrapper

Review the readme for this information

Copy the cgi file named mediawrap.cgi to your cgi-bin and CHMOD to 755.
Point your webbrowser to the following address to ensure the wrapper is functioning. <http://your_site.com/cgi-bin/mediawrap.cgi> You should see a display saying “You forgot to supply a file name”.

When a user points their browser to a file in this directory the .htaccess file in the folder wakes up the meadiawrap.cgi file.

Below if a brief explanation of what mediawrap does.

Purpose
If you offer media files on your site, such as RealMedia (Audio/Video) or mp3-files, you will probably have noticed that you have to create .ram-files or something similar. These .ram-files are kind of a "wrapper" for the real file. They are downloaded by the browser and given over to the player who then starts downloading and playing the real file.
With lots of different media files, such "wrapper files" can start to be a real nuisance.
mediawrap spares you this additional work by transparently handling media files. After installing mediawrap, you just link your media files as your normally would and mediawrap will take care of them.
Supported formats and programs
mediawrap supports RealMedia (.ra, .rm) and MPEG-III (mp3) files at the moment, but can be easily adapted for a lot of purposes (even non-multimedia files). It supports WinAmp, Kjöfol, RealPlayer and MS Media Player and works together with the standard browsers.

Developers notes about audio
I have found that most users are able to hear streaming audio on the first go. The majority of users that have problems are usually due to a small option problem in their settings of their media player.
