i jus wanted to thank those that offered a well thought out response, rather than a poorly calculated one. i do apologize for my lack of correct grammer as pointed out by one member.
i found a job as an amt in farmingdale long island. ill gain experience out there and one day move up into comercial aviation.

You could always go around to your local airports and talk to the FBO's there. Sometimes you can get lucky and find something that way. Not too sure on what your main goal, do you want to move into G/A, corporate, or the airlines?
Everyplace i've been too you buy your own tools and yes the sears craftsman brand are fine. You might want to talk to a snap-on or mack tools guy for some of the other specialty tools. As far as i know i don't think Sears has safety wire pliers, and as soon as you can afford them they would be a very worthwile investment.

You can start by learning to spell!
I wouldn't give you any advice, because it seems like you put forth zero effort in your post.
How about a nice landscaping job? We have enough people in our industry that make us look dumb already. |

Give the kid a break Lugnuts. I'm sure when you were 19 you weren't the best speller. Hell I lived with a dictionary in my hand thru college and still suck at spelling, but can take a engine apart and put it together with my eyes closed

I have to go with planedoctor's very fine answer for language is about communication and to attack spelling or grammar is the rotten fruit of a barren mind. To ask is to learn and the sign of an intellect that is a fertile garden of potential. I have always considered attacks on spelling or grammar as OFF TOPIC and POINTLESS and RUDE since the days of 300 BPS modems and amber screens and will into the future.
PS my spelling and grammar is also very bad when I am in a hurry up go fast mode.

 i remeber when i first started i couldnt afford a fart much less snap on tools! but, hey anyone who wants to try this business my hats off to you i love aviation thats why im still in it. it takes a good hearted and very easy going person to make it in aviation no matter if you have 10k in tools 10 years in the biz or make 10 bucks an hour you either love it and stay or leave and work at disneyland!
oh and the warning tag for the day i saw this yesterday
