HI!
I've the problem with Audio Module.
I upload the file mediawrap.cgi in my cgi directory.
But, if i point my webbrowser to the following address to ensure the wrapper is functioning. <http://your_site.com/cgi-bin/mediawrap.cgi>
i see: "Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request."
What's the problem?
Thanks

Hi Alex,

My first question is have you been able to run cgi's on your site before and with out error?

If you have ensure the shebang (first line in the cgi) is correct for your set up.

If this is correct, check the permissions (chmod) for the cgi and ensure its set where it's supposed to be.

Hope this helps you.

Donald Rumsfeld is giving the president his daily briefing. He concludes by saying: "Yesterday, 3 Brazilian soldiers were killed." "OH NO!" the President exclaims. "That's terrible!" His staff sits stunned at this display of emotion, nervously watching as the President sits, head in hands. Finally, the President looks up and asks, "How many is a brazillion?"

Most of the time it's best to reduce the bitrate and possibly make the mp3 into a single channel(mono) file.

This is of course completely up to the developer. My idea was to present a delivery system that ALL internet users could listen to the audio right from the beginning. Dial up users still make up the biggest demographic on the web, so if your looking to appease the biggest crowd provide a smaller file.

On my site I have cut the track to a mono channel and reduced the bitrate down considerably. The file size for a full song runs about 4-5K bytes. The user can appreciate the song. Yes, the quality isn't there but the wait isn't either.
