Anyone care to guess when the cost of fuel will drop to a reasonable level ? I know it has dropped some in the last week or so, Will it continue to drop or stay around the $50.00/barrel range ?
WOW ! Here it is, Feb. 2008.....Hard to believe I was complaining about fuel being around $50/ Barrel..

Chew on this a bit
Quote:
Exxon Mobil Corp., the world's largest publicly traded oil company, reported record third quarter profits and may be headed for all-time marks for annual revenue and earnings, thanks to higher prices for oil and natural gas.
The company said it earned $5.68 billion, or 88 cents per share, in the third quarter, compared with $3.65 billion, or 55 cents per share, a year earlier. The company said it would have earned $6.23 billion in the recent quarter after excluding a $550 million charge to cover the cost of a class-action lawsuit by gas station dealers.
You think the airlines play games with their profits? These guys are king at it.
They only increased their production 1% this year over last. To me that in it self would create a shortage. Bottom line. They will do what they want and we will have to live with it. They have us all by the "00's"
I actually think prices will start dropping, but will level off at somewhere higher then 40 a barrel. They will try to make us think we are getting a deal at that price. _________________
