I posted this almost 3 years ago and haven't received any responses.

I'm looking at the options for embedding a flash audio player into Audio.

As the whole idea of Audio was to display audio clips and allow the user to select a clip and play it I don't feel allowing the user to create a play list of a number of songs is warranted. If I'm wrong on this please let me know.

I could have Audio look something like iTunes with a giant list of songs available and no text describing the content.

If you have an opinion I would like to hear!

Hmmm... I'm sorry it took me so long. I've been using this nifty module for all of those 3 years and then previous versions.

If I could request anything, it would be just a simple update, well, not so simple for me or I would do it myself, I get the following debugging message:

Code:
Notice: Use of deprecated function sql_query in /home/pzswebc/public_html/includes/sql_layer.php on line 43

Notice: Use of deprecated function sql_fetch_row in /home/pzswebc/public_html/includes/sql_layer.php on line 57

I'm pretty sure I'm the only one sees it, as admin, but it just bugs me and I don't know how or haven't had time to track it down and fix it.

I mainly use WMA files in my database. I encode them at 32kbps which is still stereo and the files sound pretty good if you have a half way decent audio card and take up so much less space than mp3. MP3 Pro never impressed me. My members seem to like it. They love the random feature of your module!

Example:
Joe Satriani
- Always With Me Always With You

That SQL thing and maybe instead of opening up a whole page when a song link is requested, a pop up window might be nice. Instead of a Flash Player. But that's just me. I don't want to start using mp3's. The WMA's use a lot less bandwidth.

Thanks! And I'm looking forward to what ever you come up with in Audio 2.0 2cigar.gif
