CASABLANCA, March 14, 2006 – Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL) has signed new agreements for its maintenance division, Delta TechOps, to provide additional maintenance support for Royal Air Maroc, the airline announced today at the 15th Annual African Aviation Conference and Exhibit. The agreement builds upon Royal Air Maroc’s existing agreements with Delta to perform maintenance work on the carrier’s Boeing 767-300ERs, Boeing 757 PW2000 engines and auxiliary power units (APU) on its Boeing 767-300s, 757s and 737-800s. Delta TechOps also provides engineering, maintenance planning and inventory exchange services to the airline.

The new contract includes the above-mentioned services for an additional Boeing 767-300ER, as well as expanded maintenance support for Boeing 757 PW2000 engines, and GTCP331-200 and GTCP 131-9B APUs on aircraft operated by Royal Air Maroc subsidiaries.

Delta TechOps’ partnership with Royal Air Maroc comes on the heels of Delta’s recent decision to add new service to Africa. Delta will become the only U.S. carrier to offer commercial service between the U.S. and the African continent, connecting world’s largest hub at Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and the South African city of Johannesburg, with an intermediate stop in Dakar, Senegal, effective Dec. 4, 2006.

Delta’s TechOps division, staffed by more than 7,000 maintenance professionals from around the world, provides maintenance and engineering support services for Delta’s fleet of aircraft in addition to customer aircraft, engines and components. Services range from project engineering to comprehensive nose-to-tail agreements that provide complete aircraft and engine maintenance support. In the 767 category, TechOps currently maintains engines and components for a fleet of more than 100 767-300, -300ER and -400 aircraft for Delta, as well as 767 aircraft for dozens of insourcing customers.
