Horizon Air has been notified by the Aircraft Mechanics Fraternal Association (AMFA) that the airline's mechanics and fleet services agents have ratified a new three-year contract. More than 400 of the company's 3,900 employees are covered by this contract.

"I'm very pleased by their decision," said Celia Sherbeck, Horizon's vice president of maintenance and engineering. "Our mechanics and fleet services agents are among the very best in our industry. I'm grateful for their high standards of professionalism throughout this process and their ever-present dedication to safety and operational excellence."
