(AP) Northwest Airlines may be preparing to return more than 100 mechanic jobs to Duluth by early next year. Union leaders say Northwest would shift work from maintenance operations now located in the Twin Cities. President Jim Atkinson of the Aircraft Mechanics Fraternal Association, Local 33 in the Twin Cities, says Northwest has been discussing the move of 130 mechanics from the Twin Cities to Duluth.
